“Through food I would like to express Ryukyu Sprit.”
Nirai Cusine only uses fresh seafood from the ocean, buys vegetables and fruits from local farms and prepares the meals in harmony with the seasons.
As they say, they provide a rich Okinawan cuisine full of emotion and chimukuruku (essence) based both on the culture of Ryukyu cuisine and Okinawan home cuisine. Dishes are served on beautiful local pottery.
The place has a very nice atmosphere, you can choose to have Japanese or western style tables and though pork and fish are absolutely sublime, you will also find vegetarian dishes on the menu. Beside meals Sakea offers a great selection of sake and it’s somewhat stronger Okinawan variant, awamori.
It is quite popular, especially on Friday evenings so please make a reservation.
